TV on DVD-Svengoolie's Horror Picks
"Svengoolie has been an iconic figure in local television for nearly three decades. Rich Koz began his career in Chicago in 1971 working with the original Svengoolie, Jerry G. Bishop. In 1979, Koz started playing the character of "The Son of Svengoolie" on WFLD. He then came to his current home on WCIU in 1995 known only as "Svengoolie". Rich Koz has won seven Emmy Awards and has been admitted into the Television Academy's prestigious "Silver Circle."
"Svengoolie" airs Saturdays at 9pm on WCIU Channel 26; "Classic Svengoolie" airs at 1 am on ME-TV Channel 23. Svengoolie's list of favorite all-time horror films are now available for purchase.
